I've had the impossible burger and it's pretty damn good. The problem is that it's so damn expensive. How do we value fake meat over the life of a cow. I'd probably be at least a vegetarian if I could afford it.

It is true I agree, the best vegan dishes are always the ones that are NOT trying to replicate meat and are just their own thing often grainy and can be delicious as far as the proteins go. Whenever they try to Mimick meats and especially like comfort fast food items but in general there’s almost always something off. I was vegan for years and very strict vegetarian (ate eggs) for a very long time (over a decade) and learned to stay clear of that shit pretty early on…

ik this video has to be dramatized for content but there is some GOOD vegan food out there (and not just foods that are normally vegan like the majority of foods, but really good animal product substitutes). if these guys ever find themselves north of the illinois border, twisted plants in milwaukee is fantastic, and i’m not even vegan 🙂‍↕️
