This video is on a Christian-based channel, but it’s not a video that advertises those to subscribe to God. Penn is a very kind and caring man and I always try to be more like him.

We as Atheists have a love for humanity and people, and whatever you believe (Christian, Atheist, Muslim, etc.) we have to love each other and be kind to each other despite our beliefs and differences in opinions.

Love those that are good. Hate those that aren’t. That’s the lesson of this video. Not that “God is real because Penn”

What on earth is the point of this nonsense?
Penn Jillette was and remains an atheist. He is also a decent human being who mocks bad ideas not individuals. He admired the man's courage but that is totally different from admiring his beliefs and a world away from agreeing with them. When you have read the rest, copy and paste the following into the YouTube search box: Penn Jillette on Atheism and Islamaphobia | Best of '16

As for the final statement; I guess it's true. IF you believed in God, it would be hateful not to spread the word. IF you believed.

For all you believers out there who are lied to by Christian apologists and preachers, allow me to define an atheist. An individual who refuses to believe in God or gods because of insufficient evidence that gods exist. Atheists do not lie about God and they do not hate God. They simply do not believe.
You believe because you have faith (and because you were born and raised in a religious environment). The definition of faith is belief without evidence. A person cannot 'choose' to have faith because to move from being a non-believer to a person of faith is to choose to surrender a rational reliance on evidence for a belief in something for which there is no evidence.

I don't understand what this video wants to communicate. Giving a bible to an atheïst is not unique. And I hope he took that man up on his offer to answer any questions.

Because I have many!
Why does the bible allow for slavery?
Why are women in the bible seen as second rate and less valuable?
Why are there so many inconsistencies between bible books?
Why didn't the creator of the universe know the sequence of the start kf creation?
Why does Jehova like sacrifices so much?
Why does he like the Jewish people so much and hate other people and tribes?
Why does Jehova like killing so much?
Why does sin exist and why does Jehova feel everyone has it, including small children?
Why does hell exist? And suffering?
And why doesn't the bible mention the true origin of species, when evidence for evolution is so incredibly strong? Did Jehova intentionally put in evidence for evolution like the neck of a giraffe to confuse us?

And why if he exists do some people get personal experience of his existence while others have to just believe?

I've watched tons of Penn stuff, I've never heard this story before. I'm an atheist, but this was a kind video. No fire and brimstone rubbish. If only Christians were more like Christ, they might have more followers.

Everyone is an atheist to a certain degree. Believers only believe in the god they think is real, but they are an atheist to all other gods they don't think is real. Some atheists just take it 1 god further and disbelieve that god as well.

The following verses explain why a person that is spiritually dead to God cannot fully understand a spiritual book as the Holy Spirit doesn't teach an unbeliever. In short, you are so deceived you believe that finite man can righteously pronounce that one can intellectually dominate an infinite God who created the universe & that which is within it. Mr. Jillette, you are deceived beyond measure.
2 Tim 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
1 Cor 2:11-16
11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except for their own spirit within them? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
12 What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.
13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.
14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments,
16 for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?”But we have the mind of Christ.

Penn’s almost ‘loss of words’ and the light in which he saw it was evidence of the Holy Spirit doing His work. If only Penn would humble - repent & turn to the Savior.

Funny when the person who is supposedly "the fool" gets it right. Atheist speaks the truth. Again.
