The All Blacks Kamate HAKA has been on the world stage since the NZ Rugby Union tour of the UK in 1888. "Kamati", as preformed by the All Blacks. was writtten by the Kapaiti Rangagtira (chief), Te Rauparaha, circa 1820.. He Toa, Aotearoa!

Wow, as a Maori i don't quite understand the reason you would have other indigenous people included in this. With no disrespect to the other indigenous people .But the title of this clip is about, the haka New Zealand's Mighty Maori War Dance. this type of thing happens a lot, it's almost as if the person/people who created this have not actually done their homework. The thumb nail shot is also not Maori warriors . As an indigenous person, and im sure most other indigenous people all over the world are proud of their Nationality and do not appreciate being classed as a people they are not . Please if you wish to create these things, get it right.

Other indigenous cultures were and still do look to Maori for inspiration. In the past other cultural heritage were despised, assimilated & language forbidden to be spoken by pakeha(white man) when they invaded their lands Maori were able to stand up against every form of oppression by them for a long time.

The message behind the Haka? "Though we're lost in time - let the modern world fear our backwardness!!!"

As I kiwi I couldn’t watch this right through. Hearing it called a dance and not really knowing it all.

this is terrible. partly because it's stealing the wrong pictures from the wrong places, and also partly because the computer is interpreting what a haka is for without full understanding. mega down thumb.

The haka is not a "dance". A haka is a haka.

A.I. voice overs are so artificial sounding... oh wait, that's because they are! Please don't use artificial voice overs when narrating subjects pertaining to the Māori world, as Te Ao Māori is traditionally, first and foremost about wairuatanga, and A.I. is VOID of wairuatanga, waioratanga, rangatiratanga, and definitely maurioratanga - and what's more, A.I will never have these gifts! Also, I agree with @karlholloway1634 - by saying: do not use images of other indigenous cultures when making videos of aspects in the Māori culture (or any indigenous culture), because it shows you have been lazy, that you are ignorant, and crudely disrespectful to the other indigenous cultures whose images you have used incorrectly, and it's disrespectful to Māori, and it's misleading to those who would not know any different (or any better). There is much room for improvement on this video, least of all, by getting it right!

A lot of people’s culture find to stick your tongue out as an offensive gesture and therefore the Haka should not been used in International sports. As long as you do it in your own country at your own sport teams its fine.
