Optical switches can be incredibly smooth, but the options right now are quite limited and I'm not sure if they are as easy to mod (film, lube, spring swap, etc.). I used to have a Razor Huntsman TKL with optical reds that were super smooth but incredibly loud and too light for typing.

Great review. Just to clarify, you can change the keycaps right with any standard key cap sets? lol

The key-caps just don't have long skirts around them. They're like that to let all the light come out. That's a great thing!

Top review! The keyboard base and the keycaps are low profile, with regular switches, to be more precise. I have a "vulcan 120".
