Salida Lavolpiana | The Lavolpiana Build up

In this video, we'll be highlighting the keys of the Lavolpiana build up. The Salida lavolpiana otherwise known as the Lavolpiana build up or 3 man build up is the search for numerical advantage when progressing the ball out of the back. The concept named after Argentine coach Ricardo La Volpe refers to the 1st phase of the build up when a team with a 4 man defensive line transitions to a line of 3 in possession.
