Not gonna lie y’all’s videos are the reason I started this side hustle of cutting peoples hair. I’m in the military and where I’m at barbers charge anywhere from 15-50$ for a cut so I started cutting on the side for about 12$ a cut. But I completely agree that people that you cut are your billboards so you should take your time to get all the details. That’s one of the reasons I went from having 0 customers to about 15 in a short amount of time, and it’s cheaper for my military customers who need a haircut every 1-2 weeks 🤙🏽

11:50 helped me out a lot. I’m a relatively new barber. Graduated from Paul Mitchell about a month ago. Shop I’m at now is all about squeezing as many haircuts as you can in a day. Owner wants 20-30 minutes per cut. I take about 45 minutes and sometimes I feel bad for it.. it’s a busy shop so I understand.. but it’s hard for me to get on board with that mentality

That is so true bro.I always say that.every cut I do is a walking billboard, and to this day, that’s the best advertisement I’ve ever had.it is frustrating because there’s a few other barbers in town that charge 20 a cut and people say they are in the chair 6 mins and they stay busy everyday all day, those barbers are making a killing.I just don’t understand it, cause I’ve had people tell me their hair isn’t even, grows back all weird.
