Absolute genius. MRI technology is something that even decades later, still seems like something out of Star Trek. How fortunate we are that he had the skills in physics, computer science, engineering, medicine and business to bring such astonishing technology to the world

He wasn't the only one who helped to develop this tech. There was also Britton Chance, biochemist and biophysicist at the Univ. of PA. He is often considered the Father of Biochemical Photonics.

No one else says of any other Nobel Prize winner of science "yeah but there were other people who contributed", let alone for someone who rightfully should receive a Nobel Prize but didn't in some field of science, does anyone say "yeah, but he shouldn't get it other than the one who already has it because there exists other people who contributed in some form or fashion". No, they simply just give the Nobel Prize to those who have earned it. Except rare exceptions that is, and one of them is this man here, Dr. Raymond Damadian.

The reason why the secular and liberal establishment and the mainstream media, never even acknowledged him, and certainly never wanted to state that he invented the MRI and it's technology until after he's dead of course, is for one reason and one reason only: he was a young-earth biblical creationist. Make no mistake.

He says in his book that big companies would say what he was doing wasn't possible. They would buy his machine, reverse engineer it, and then bring out their own product.

He didn't want it to be expensive like it is now. He wanted people to be able to have a yearly full body scan.

Damadian made major contributions to the development of MRI (NMR) but self sabotaged his chances of winning the Nobel prize by brazen self promotion including ghost writing a favorable account of his work without originally acknowledging the book was paid for by him. The lesson for scientists is not to openly self promote for prizes and recognition.
