Algebra – Solving Inequalities

Показать описание
There is a now-famous rule about switching the inequality sign whenever multiplying or dividing both sides by a negative. But why? In another special video of Yay Math in Studio, we go over the rule, then apply it to solve several inequalities. The number line comes up too, so we explore that.

Then, we go over some expressions that come up in word problems, such as what "at least, at most, no more than" and "no less than" mean with inequality signs. YAY MATH!

Wow multiplying by (-1) really demonstrates the reason why we have to flip the sign, thank you sir!

I have to say, actually explaining why a function works a certain way instead of forced memorization works so much better to learn a topic👍

Did he just say Whatup? That was the best way to start a video, no wonder I replayed twice. He is so entertaining to watch yet he gets to the point. I wish you were my teacher! You are so funny & you teach very well. Also, wouldn't at least mean less because how can you guess you have more than what you think you have rather than underestimating, @yaymath?
