i’ve owned $2000+ headphones yet the DT990s are still my go to headphones for daily use and especially gaming. there’s just something about the sound presentation that is perfect to me

"Gaming" headphone doesn't exist. "Gaming" is a marketing word, to make you buy a shitty 130€ Razer headset or whatever the brand, Beyerdynamics are known for their quality for years, absolutely any artist in the world uses them. So just accept this: this is a really really good Headset, and it will be better than any 150€ "gaming" shit. Thanks for that video, and don't mind the idiots mean comments.

Imagine the community finally recognising a 30yo product after spending a fortune on gaming gimmicks. Don't reinvent the weel guys, sound are wavelengths, ears are ears, spend your money on a company that understands that concept (any beyer or sennheiser product is more bang for buck than any gaming brand)

Bought these mainly for music so I don't have to blast my guitar through my rokit 5s all the time and seen multiple people use them for games too was def sold on them. Ended up with the lim edition all black ones

I've been seeing the hype behind these, I've also heard them and realy liked them so much but I ended up bying the 600ohm versions, of course higher ohm need more amplification as you go up but In terms of sound, do they sound any better or worse 8s the sound specifically altered becus of ohm and not just a volume difrence ect, thnx in advance for any and all help

No such thing as "gaming headphones" pros use crappy sponsored headphones, good audiophile headphones won't make you any better. Just get headphones you enjoy

I've been using them in my recording studio for the last 8 years, so I'm a huge fan, but gaming? No
