I volunteered somewhere that had Filipino nurses. They prioritize hard work above almost anything else. I never saw one slacking.

My first job as an RN, night shift charge nurse was Filipino. Her name was Belen or Tee ta len. She was amazing!!! She was always bringing food in for us. She would point with her lips and say "you look tired, GO EAT!" I learned about Ube and avocado with ice and condensed milk from her. She made her own fermented beans!
She could draw blood from a dead person! We didn't have phlebotomy in house, so nurses had to draw labs each night and also rotate IV sites. She could start an IV and draw blood from a patient with no veins lol
She was so smart and full of knowledge. I learned so much from her. She really helped make me into the nurse I am today.
She also loved Karaoke. She had a bedroom converted into a karaoke room!! She loved to sing. Her most favorite song was Lady in Red and some Celine Dion song.
Both of her kids became doctors. I cant Express how great she was...
This was 2003 thru 2006. I found out she died of breast cancer in 2016. She will forever be missed 💖💖💖🤟

My surgical nurse is Filipino and you couldn't give me any amount of money to trade him. Even when he bosses me around and treats me like one of his kids. I love him, and he is the hardest working person I've ever known. Plus he cooks nuff said.

When I had my heart surgery, every morning they sing softly. It was so wonderful. Plus lots of giggles and chatter.

As a Filipino, this is incredibly offensive

We obviously spell it rehsiatbannede

Filipinos are that one friend in the group that’s keeping everyone from falling apart

While I'm not a nurse I did have a bunch of Filipino co-workers before I had to leave my job due to my health. They are easily the best and friendliest co-workers I've ever had.

The Head of Clinical Education at the teaching hospital I used to work in is Filipino. Soft spoken and a hardworking man.

I was expected to become a Filipino nurse.

But I'm studying IT...
which makes me a computer nurse.

I worked at a couple hotels with Filipino housekeepers, I miss them! They’re hard working and able to joke around with.

When i was hospitalized, the Filipina nurse who was assigned to me blasted through the room, organizing it and sanitizing. Not her job. She was amazing, and even spent time to chat with me one evening. Loved her.

One of the BEST Filipino Nurses I have had the pleasure to work with, asked me "what happened to your energy today? You should take some BITOMIN." I asked her for the recipe, 😂, I thought it was a Filipino drink or dish. I realized later I would never be able to keep up with her efficiency, & stress levels. I'm still searching for those magical Filipino Bitomins ♡◇♡◇♡

I was in a coma for three weeks and when I woke up, I had a Filipino nurse. She was the best. She is now a nurse practitioner. She works on my doctor’s team. I love her still.

My school had 400 kids..56% were Filipino and I am SO GLAD. I was introduced early on to some of the best foods and the culture is awesome! I loved all of them ❤ we never went hungry when a Filipino mom was in charge of feeding us lol

They are by far the hardest working nurses. Very friendly and loyal. I’m half Filipino and my Filipino mother passed away 10 years ago. Whenever there are potlucks I’m always thrilled to have Filipino dishes there. Warms my heart and reminds me of my late mother’s wonderful cooking. 💜🥹
