The Caldor Fire has burned 218,459 acres and is still 53% contained.

It takes forever to find a current update as all the news channels have taken over. That's wrong.

A big thank you to all of the hard working firefighters and crews.

Is it me.. ? but during these updates; Cal Fire has to keep mentioning for the public to be patient. I would think for every adult resident in the Tahoe basin; this would be a given. People should be extremely grateful to have a home to go back to / insurance to cover the cost of a new one, etc. Just hoping people are staying calm, wise, patient and respectful. And not taking this out on Cal Fire or any crew member. I lived in Tahoe; back in the 70s and miss it terribly. Heart breaking to see people with out a home to go back to.

Hate to say it; but some people are horribly entitled in 2021. I've seen friends who work in the service industry around Tahoe; get treated pretty badly by spoiled locals and spoiled tourists alike. It makes me cringe !! Grown adults acting unforgivably rude; because they can't wait an extra 5 minutes for food or a table, etc.

One of the reasons why people in past generations; were kinder: is because people actually read their bibles. We treated people; how we would like to be treated.

Kindness, concern, wisdom and patience: it's free !!! And available for use every day.

In these last days: before Jesus returns for the church .... it's a good time to be kind and patient.
