In part 1 we discuss bracketing, how to make the adjustments to your suspension, and the importance of performance and measuring that performance and feel, versus being stuck using SAG as the key measurement.

The rider we are setting up suspension for in this video is 5'2" and 115lbs. The usual setup does not work for her. Learn how we make her bike work!

You will learn about rebound and compression, what they are and the difference between high and low speed.

Great video!! Your comments are spot on with my experiences as a super light 118-125lb rider. I struggled with years on trying to get a setup which felt like what I was searching for. Fortunately with in the last 6 months I felt like a lot of it really came into focus for me on my SB140 with the addition of a Smashpot in tandem with 11-6 in the rear. Even though custom tuned Tractive shock on my previous bike the big leap in performance was the move to coil front and rear. Stiction is the enemy for lightweight riders IMO.
