Wildwood Flower by The Carter Family - A String Ensemble

Hey friends, you wanted me to upload it so here it is! This is my string ensemble of Wildwood Flower by the Carter Family. Enjoy! I will be taking a little break to focus on school. I will be back as soon as possible with more! The link to my original recording is listed below.

Much like I Guess Things Happen That Way, the main rhythm/lead guitar is my six string as a mono track. I have my Martin 12 String in the left channel, this six string in the right channel playing the rhythm as well as some Luther Perkins/Bob Wootton picking. Going through both channels is my 12 string being used as a percussion instrument. All this combined gives the track as a stereo recording.

Talk about songs "taking you someplace". This takes me back to my 1st day in ET school TI Calif. Aug 1st 1958, I was assigned a bunk in section 4 and as I was putting stuff in my locker a shipmate, last name Rhodes (called Dusty of course) in section 1 was playing Wildwood flower. 1st time Id ever heard it Loved it.. Thanks for the memory!
