As for Pelosi, she may have been the elder sister type person in the room, who, with the insight of a wise woman, and the love for all her "democratic" family, did what she felt was best, even knowing that for a while she may be given the cold shoulder by less aware members.
Far more worrying than all this, is how the election will be run and followed up. The Republicans are sowing some very nasty seeds, and not seeds of love but seeds of doubt, inventing cock and bull stories to confuse and shed doubt already on the veracity of the election.

The presidency has taken its toll on Biden. He is not the same man as in 2020 even I can see that. He look and behave tiered. But it is nothing wrong in that at Biden's age.
