Thunderstorms in the south bringing a risk of hail, heavy rain and frequent lightning, with yellow warnings issued, but largely sunny spells towards the south east. Large amounts of cloud and some drizzle for eastern Scotland and northeast England, but fine and sunny for western Scotland and Northern Ireland. Cool along eastern coasts and under the cloud across the northeast but warmer elsewhere - This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the afternoon of 20/09/24. I have a question and i don't know if it's just me, Why does the direct sunlight seem hotter towards the end of summer or in september then any other time of year,

0:47 are you sure? In eastern Northern Ireland it’s gloomy with no cloud breaks. Unless the cloud was more stubborn than expected, another inaccurate forecast

Sunny all day on the Isle of Wight makes me wonder where these forecaster get their directional information from, people cancelled things today as the forecast was awful, but as usual the forecaster got it wrong didn’t they, , , , Michale fish !
