Pachia Ammos Agios Nikolaos Lasithi Crete Greece

Pachia Ammos is a small village on the north coast of the narrowest part of Crete. There the distance between the South and North coast is only 12 km. The village of Pacheia Ammos is located 20 km eastern from Agios Nikolaos and 15 km northern from Ierapetra.
Pachia Ammos has 900 m long pebbly-sandy beach, that is organized in its western part with beach sets for rent. By the western side of the village is a small port and on the eastern edge of the beach is church of Agia Fotini. Pachia Ammos is quiet destination that offers basic services - apartments for rent, cafes, restaurants, supermarket and bus connections to Ierapetra, Agios Nikolaos and Sitia.
Archaeological site of ancient city Gournia lies on a hill 1 km western from Pacheia Ammos. In Pachia Ammos you can enjoy impressive view of Dikti Mountains and Ha gorge in the background.
