All you who are bashing this young man and his playing ability should first think back to when you were a beginner and second post a vid of yourself in other words put up or shut up

Out of all the modeling/digital amps/pre-amps out there. The Champion is, WITHOUT A DOUBT, the biggest bang for your buck. I've been playing for over 30 years and have owned just about every amp out there. When it comes to ease of use, reliability, consistency (tube amps drive me crazy because they sound different each night), sound quality, does it all. I've owned numerous Fenders in the past and always had to have a Marshall or Mesa or pedals to get that over driven sound. Now it all comes in one box and for about $200 bucks. That is unbelievable The amps are sounded better and better and get cheaper. No need to hot rod amps, no need to deal with tubes.

I still have my orignal champion 300. Its good to see fender bring back a kick ass amp. I got so many complaments how great it sound for a small amp. And many of my friends have been searching online for those amps. They r gonna be happy

What is with all the dumb questions like can I play guns n roses on this amp. Can I play nirvana on this amp blab blab blab. You can play anything on any amp if you know how to play guitar. Period.

I've seen a lot of guys make Fender SS amps sound really good over the years. A good player can make almost anything sound good.

If you like great cleans the Champion 100.
If you also want gain, I would recommend an EVH MXR overdrive with the built in noise gate.
Add your favorite pedals in the FX loop. Even use some onboard fx

I like my champ 20 so much I’m gonna buy the 100 now. I dunno about the British and metal settings but the tweed and blackface settings are pretty damn good. The clean and bluesy overdrive with my telecaster is great.

I bought the champ 20 just to mess around with until I can get another twin reverb. But for 350 bucks I’m going with champ 100 now

I'm a tube snob, but these solid states give you a good clean sound, plus they're cheap, reliable and easy to carry. Even better if Fender did a basic one channel SS state amp without all the gain stages and effects.

I just got the Champion 40. I like it. It is so light compared to my 40 watt Hot Rod Deluxe 3, and smaller in size. Perfect for taking in the car to practise with. It has the volume to play in smaller rooms and keep up with the PA speakers. The clean channel sounds great. The various amps on ch 2, paired up with the effects, gives you lots of options, . The only drawback for me is the footswitch doesn't come with it. For the price, it is a great amp. Thumbs Up!

This Champion series and Peavey's VYPYR amps too sound just phenomenal for SS and are worth every dollar too if you're not interested in being a Tube amp Nurse or paying Tech fees for re-biasing new tubes; those Tube amps can end up owning YOU over time if you play them enough hours to burn them out and it's not just the tubes that burn out or melt down eventually either. You can end up buying your Tube amp a few times over with tech fees and parts costs too not to mention gas money too from dropping it off and picking it up from the shop.

I've had blues jr., peavey bandit and classic jr. Bought this amp and it's not far from any of them. Very good with pedals, even with fuzz!

I like this amp.. I used to have a FM212R and that is a very noisy amp.. Fender champ 40 is a clean sound and doesn’t scream at you obnoxiously with high gain. I recommend this amp for practicing or smaller gigs

I started out with a fender deluxe 90 which was a total p.o.s. This would definitely be an upgrade.
