In 1988 I fell 25 feet or so down an elevator shaft and landed on top of it. I died twice. While in the hospital I was not healing. My leg was shattered in a way they might have to remove it. Before the accident I would listen to Vinnie everyday and I would hear his playing fluent musical lines in my head when not hearing his musical genius. I was aware of his new CD called Odyssey. I asked the volunteer who was working in the hospital if she would get me the cassette and I gave her 20 bucks. I never heard music like this ever. I started to be emotional and had no clue what was happening. After MANY MONTHS of no healing progress the Doctors were relating to me the possibility again that my leg would have to be removed. I would dive into the music and think of that and turn it up so I could not hear my mind talking fear to me. One day the doctor entered and said they had not one clue why but all of a sudden I was healing. So they had me do more tests. during this time I was away from Vinnies music all of it I had brought with me. The Vicious Rumer's music and the Vinnie Moore album Mind eye and the new one I had. The healing stopped for a month. I then went home and awaited a date to remove my leg.. I dove right back into the music. I healed in a fashion the hospital could not explain. I related that I was feeling awesome but only after I listened to this music I had. The doctors hooked up EEG or EKG? To my brain and wanted to do a scan.... I took my walkman... they did not know. While the test was being done I was using the walkman and Vinnies music. They said they had no clue what they were looking at as a brain wave. Later I would heal and keep my leg also. I am in pain a lot and I believe Vinnies musical genius saved my life and leg. I love Vinnie and as I understand it he has a awesome decent son. LOVE VINNIE
