I'm completely blown away. Again. To me, Elder is a modern day Pink Floyd. Not really in style, but in the way the music is played. Each song is a journey.

Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how awesome Jack Donovan's playing is. Watch the guy live and it looks like he's rocking out for sure, but precision, heavyosity, rhythm and melody are all in place throughout.

Holy Elder gods, Merged in Dreams is immense and absolutely obliterates faces. This entire album is amazing. But, Merged in Dreams is the crown jewel and sounds like Lore/Reflections had a guitar shredding baby. Nick, Mike, Jack, and Georg are geniuses. Prost!

Ok, so I was today years old (52) when I discovered a new band and a very engaging and compelling album. Very well done, Elder. Best rock album I've heard in a time. Long may you roam.
