I’m someone who sews a lot… but I still mess up and have to seam rip and cut things out wrong. It happens! I hope you enjoy your new hobby. Its addictive once you start 😂

remember to always wash your fabric before you cut!! i sew almost exclusively with cotton and linen, which shrink a little on the first wash. if you don’t wash it first, it’ll shrink weird after you’ve sewn it and it won’t fit you correctly anymore

Embroidery just takes long. Experience makes you a bit faster, but embroidering just takes a long time. I embroidered ferns on a vest and it took me like two weeks (not full days but still)
