Oh yes! I agree, the Ole Henriksen peptide moisturizer is amazing! BUT when mixed with the Ole Henriksen Peptide Oil its even better!

🙋‍♀️ I'm with you on that Lord Jones, too! Fantastic for my Tretinoin on rosacea skin, and one of the very few expensive moisturizers I've found to be worth it. I do mostly Korean skincare, but this is an exception!

On the opposite spectrum of price, as inexpensive, I’ve been 100% loving Eucerin Intensive Repair Essential Oil Balm for very dry skin. My skin suddenly became extremely dry. Nothing I had worked. Longish story, but tried the Eucerin and my skin was saved. It was like a miracle. It does not have essential oils — they mean just important oils. I’m in m late 60s. When I was young, and all up until a couple of months ago, my skin was fairly normal. I use the Eucerin at night with the Eucerin night cream on top. And I’ve started using the Eucerin - very light application - under my tinted moisturizer. I use two tinted moisturizer: Luxury by Sophia. And I also use Lavera Tinted Moisturizing Cream. Neither settles into lines.

Hi Shelly. I like the Elf Daily Cleanser, but I can't put it near my eyes. To take my makeup off, I love the Ordinary's Squalene Cleanser. It's a cream, that liquifies. It's always a repurchase for me.

I love the Ole Henriksen Moisturizer. I have another on order. It smells amazing. Have you tried their Hydrabarrier Face Oil? It's incredible. I have a backup.
Are you talking about La Mer as the very expensive moisturizer?

I have extremely dry skin (I'm 50, picture is recent, 0 make-up) and I *never ever* exfoliate. I don't do anything to my face, but moisturize and seal with Nivea's blue tin (have been using this since age 3, no joke, our internist recommended it to my mother). Together with sweet almond oil underneath. I switched to hyaluronic acid underneath instead, age 44, and in the last couple years I added a retinol. But that's all I do. And I don't think with all that, my skin looks half bad (for being veeery dry).

Hi Shelley I bought a kit in February of the Kate Somerville Delikate line. I had always been curious about it, but it's expensive at full price lol (the kit was on a really really good deal). I really like the products (cleanser, serum and moisturiser) for my super dry, rosacea and eczema prone highly reactive skin, but they won't be a constant repurchase due to price. If I find them on heavy discount I would buy again, but there are other things I like that are more affordable. For instance the calm serum and the omega serum from Paula's choice both work well for me and their ultra rich moisturiser is a cold weather staple in my routine (they're about half the price of the KS). I will pay decent money for really great products, but I go through skincare pretty quickly as I'm so dry.
the Elf moisturiser mentioned doesn't have CBD properly, but it has hemp in it and is a pleasant moisturiser. Perhaps an actual CBD moisturiser would give similar results and may be worth a try, before splurging on the one mentioned. Just a thought lol. However since you don't have to buy the lancome serum it might not be as ouch as otherwise.
I'm just about done with the Avene foaming cleansing oil (for face and body). it's very hydrating on my eczema prone super dry body skin, so that may be another option (Bioderma, Uriage and Eucerin make a similar product). Best wishes.

My bifida product is Purito Fermented Complex 94 Essence. It contains other good stuff, too. It’s $10 cheaper than your alternative. (I was just using too many serums.)
