UN chief affirms full support for Yemen peace envoy

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has promised the UN Special Envoy for Yemen his full support during a visit to Saudi Arabia on Sunday, days after Yemen's Houthi group asked him not to renew the term of Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed. The group accused the UN envoy of a "lack of neutrality" by showing sympathy for the Saudi-led coalition fighting to reinstate Yemen's internationally-recognized government.
