Hard to deny Twilight Imperium's place as the grandest game of all time. A game this epic must be a long one but the Golden Goose of gaming is surely a 'grand' game that takes a quarter of the time - never going to happen. But it's also hard to justify forking out $150 when I have invested so much in TI3 :(

The only issue that prevents this game from achieving greatness for me is that it is by far the hardest game to find people to play it with. It carries such a notorious stigma within gaming groups across the globe that so many people buy it but can't find anybody who wants to invest the time and effort to actually get it to the table. Surely this is should reflect when rating any board game?

I enjoy your videos Bryan. I've had my eye on 3rd edition for a while, glad I waited. Now I just have to justify getting this, since I already have a shelf of "to play" games and I find it hard to get more than 3 together at one time for a game. Maybe it's time to look for some local groups.

Btw, it's a big game with many, many parts. Don't skimp on details man. You're talking as if you're being rushes, and it almost seems like you're that salesman who has to make his quota this week..
Also, there was a part where you didn't realize you had the sheet in front of the camera while you were trying to explain ground troops. How did you not redo that part?? You had to have seen it while editing this video...
Oh and there's the volume changes as well.. you started our loud but i had to turn up the volume once you finally got to the actual explanation of the game..

the art is the worst in this game...
it cant get more uncreative in a space franchise to just take some earth animals let them look a little bit more like a human and thats it. super weak. luckily the game is amazing enough
