Just used my Karve Overlander aluminum for the 1st time today on 3 days of growth. I was very cautious with it as I have only used a Henson AL Mild before that. The Overlander is very mild yet efficient. It has a very nice handle which is very easy to grip. Overall, very happy with it. It is very well made. The threads are very thick and robust and the anodizing is exceptional.

I have been really impressed with Karve Overlander ( I have only brass version). There is often much hype with new razors but with Overlander I feel the hype is real.

Nice shave video, watching this makes me want to consider a Wald synthetic knot. Great lathering with the Lothur John, made it look really slick and glossy. I was leaning towards the Brass Karve Overlander until I saw your video. Now I am going to pick up the aluminum as I have an aluminum Henson AL13 Mild already.

The Overlander is a great razor for sure but it's still doesn't knock off my Rockwell 6S on R5 and R6 plate for too dog! Great shave John! 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻

I'm really thinking about getting the Wald as his handles really speak to me, especially the Nimbus shape.
I have slight reservations about the knot, it doesn't appeal to me in the way the Omega Evo and G5's do, with their thicker bendy/wavy hair that perform more in a more natural way. This looks very synthetic along the lines of a dense Cashmere/Synbad knot. I'm likely wrong ofcourse as I haven't tried one.

The Brass Overlander was too heavy for me. The Aluminum is just perfect and with Karve you are guaranteed extremely tight blade clamping and tolerances even with the Aluminum. I have owned most of the high end razors of late including all those mentioned in these comments and the Aluminum Overlander easily tops them all for me. Wonderful design from Chris.
