The trapdoors in the third hack (lava door) were necessary as even though it's not a full block, it still stops lava and water from flowing through. :)

In a certain snapshot, if you place a glow lichen in a piece of lava in the nether, it will summon fully functioning water. It flows too!!

12:30 you actually can obtain bedrock in Minecraft survival, but it isn’t easy. It was done on the scicraft server and required very specific chunk loading and a giant redstone machine. Basically what it does is unloads the chunk with the bedrock you want, pushes a slime block onto the area where the bedrock should be and uses tnt to explode the slime block. The game gets confused by which block was in the location of the bedrock and so it thinks that it is blowing up a slime block, but when loaded in at the right time it drops a piece of bedrock. I don’t know if this still works, but it’s really interesting and is as far as I know the only way to get placeable bedrock in survival

Fun fact (I figured this out just now): wearing a cape can change the colour of an elytra
When I wore an elytra while wearing my pancake cape the wing turned into mirrored pancakes.

On the lava door part the trapdoors are actually not decorations, they are necessary for blocking the lava from spreading. If u didn’t know the hit boxes of trapdoors for water and lava are like the hit boxes of a full block but for players the hit boxes are the shape of the trapdoor. I hope this makes sense
