'Won't Fight...': Israeli Soldier Kills Self After IDF Recalls For Gaza Duty Amid War | Details

An Israeli soldier has ended his life after being called up for active duty. Israeli public broadcasting authority aired the report without naming the soldier. Report came less than a week after Israeli media reported suicide of a reservist, which it named as Asaf, who had taken his own life after turning up for a call-up. Last month too, CNN reported suicide of Eliran Mizrahi, a 40-year-old reservist. The IDF's Mizrahi ended his life after returning from the war-torn Gaza Strip. More and more Israeli troops are reportedly 'refusing to fight brutal' Gaza war. The IDF is accused of withholding figures on number of troops, who have committed suicide.

Israel never fought a long war and it's soldiers are mentally unprepared for this situation.
Technological superiority has its limits and will not save Israel from losing this conflict.
Their air force is surely superior to anything its adversaries can bring to the battle field, but no war was ever won with air power alone.
To conquer territory, you need soldiers on the ground, lots of them.
Quantity has a quality of its own and Israel is massively out-manned by it's adversaries.
HAMAS, Hezbollah and the Houties have been at war for decades and most of their soldiers have extensive front line experience and are battle hardened.
Furthermore there is a big difference between fighting to defend your home and family and fighting to conquer territory that is not yours to begin with.
Israel did not achieve any of it's goals and can't fight a war on several fronts, at the same time, for very long.
They are hiding their real casualties and are lying about their achievements.
This conflict will not end well for Israel and they will be lucky if they survive as a sovereign state.
