I was watching this scene with a friend who’s favorite digimon is omnimon but they didn’t know what alter-s was. From the moment omnimon pulled out the garurusword until the end of the fight they were just completely speechless

Holy crap Omegamon actually spoke and has a unique voice, most of the time in the Japanese dub he doesn't talk. This scene was just awesome and beautiful.

This series does something I personally enjoy despite the many flaws. And that's all the slide evolutions. Digimon have many branching evolutions because they all have vast potential. However, when they normally Digivolve, they are stuck into whatever form they change into and stuck on that line.

But a Digimon partner oughta be able to get around that, beause their evolutions are tied to the their partner's potential. That means they can digivolve to other branching paths or slide evolve to their other forms. It allows them to have more versatility and potential in battle that they normally wouldn't have under normal circumstances.

Negamon is neither evil nor justice, he wants to turn good and evil into nothing, and then into nothing himself. Unlike a lot of villains who just want to satisfy their own desires.That’s cool

Omegamon's voice as he says how negamon shouldn't be bound to either good or evil in it's next existence sounds unique and not a mix of agumon/gabumon. And that makes me feel that Omegamon is it's own being and not just a fusion of wargreymon/metalgaruruomon, which I like a lot.

Wished you hadn't skip the final sayings from omegamon. It had the "goku final saying to Buu" vibe.

Their sword slash seriously reminds me of gogeta from dragon ball when they throw the ball of light at their opponents

That double sword omegamon tho... as a fan of dual wielding swords, that form (albeit only for a split-second) looks great

That last scene when Omegamon RESTORING everything shows that how powerful he actually is. Sadly he and along with some other Digimon were nerfed for drama and story purposes all the time.
