I did experience a jellyfish sting once, when I was a kid, I went to a coastal area W my cousins and there were lots of jellyfish (like alot) so people told me to be careful of them so I was, when I was in the water, I was checking so that no jellyfish is under my feet, but when I turned around for 1 second, I felt a burning sensation immidietly. And how clumsy I was ( and still is) I knew I got stinged. I busted out crying so loud, everyone on the island could hear me. I was so embarrassed that I was the only one that got stinged. My mother rushed and immediately took me, scolded me, and said "no it's not a sting, those jellyfishes don't sting maybe u had an allergic reaction to the water " I was so mad and tried to convince her that it was a jellyfish sting but she kept denying it. I kept telling her " if I did get an allergic reaction, then why did I get it so late!? I was playing for a long time but that time nothing happend!? " then she applied some cream but it was still so painful. Then I was limping on the way home and whining of pain . After a few weeks I started noticing so bumps and those bumps were really big (like really big) I then I was worried, then weeks after weeks, it started increasing and my whole leg was covered with bumps. I had to deal with those bumps for months. I guess those were the side effects of jellyfish stings. Then it finally went away but left a lot of scars. Those scars stayed there for 5 months straight then it went away. So ya, that's my story. I hope u know know what it feels like to be stinged by a jellyfish.

I got stung by a jellyfish twice
I was around 6 or 7 when I was visiting family in a Texas. We went to the beach and everything was good at first.
My cousin got stung by one and I thought it was a lobster, she was crying pretty hard but I didn’t think much about it.
Not long after I got stung by one on my right leg, I started crying and my aunts friend had this jel to reduce the pain.
Not long after I went back into the ocean and I got stung again. I immediately started crying because the jellyfish stung me on my left leg.
Now that I’m much older and I still go to the beach. Nothing has changed 😐😅
