I must've bought crappy connectors because I do just like you did in the video and the connectors always slip right off. I clamp them down good with a pair of vise grips and they ain't pretty but they stay put.

At the beginning you show crimp connectors but you used compression connectors, Why?

I can’t get the connector to clamp tight enough comes loose when I tighten it.?

If you are using ccs cable you just damaged the cutter in your tool. That stripping tool is for copper cutting only.
