This battery left me stranded the first weekend out with it in my Honda trx 450. The electronics in it failed and wouldn’t send power to the starter. Don’t waste your money.

I believe this video has incorrect information, you DO need specific chargers rated for Lithium Iron batteries, regular trickle chargers will not work on LiFePO4 batteries.

Lithium power sport batteries are nice to lighten the load and the self discharge properties are nice. My only complaint with them is they are usually less than half the watt hours of the lead acid battery they replace. In your video 32 Watt/Hr lithium vs 72 Watt/Hr lead acid. So if you use something with a high continuous draw like a winch take this into account or they are more likely to fail than a lead acid battery.

My Tusk Lithium battery came with a removable translucent rubber top cover; Is it to stay on or be removed when installing the battery?

What do i need to do if I buy the lithium Tusk battery? Do I have to have a special charger? And do I need to charge it before I use it? or for storage? Mostly tho what do I need to do prior to installing it?

This sounds good! Thanks for the review! 2 questions: Is common battery maintenance still required like with Lead Acid (when unit is down for winter as example)? AND, do you stock for XR650L (94-2012)? Funny leaving questions here but also efficient! Thanks for all you guys do!
