Remember when the Nexus phones had the latest features at lower prices than the competition? Now that was amazing, this is just priced too high for most people. Google got greedy like Apple.

A Nexus user myself, miss the way Steve presented their products at Apple. More flair and passion...not necessarily a better product, but no backstabbing on other products.
Use your own strength Google, gives you more respect!

Such an un-prepared for event. Nearly every presenter made mistakes. So unprofessional from a company as big as Google.

I respect diversity. Really, i do.
I'm asian myself, it would be stupid for me if I don't support diversity.

But could we please also respect presenter / host / announcer occupation, too?
Let the tech and marketing geniuses do their magic behind the curtains, and leave the on-stage presentations to professional presenters.

Having speakers that doesn't speak english with utmost clarity, or have thick accent, doesn't make you look like a diverse company, google. People already know that you are.

It makes you look like cheapskates who wouldn't even bother to afford professional presenters.

You can still learn a thing or two from news channels, google. It's not about diversity, it's about conveying clear messages.

I was expecting a little more from google
Also the price tag was really high for really “software improvements “.
In my point of view the best addition on the new line it was the pixel slate
But high priced for low hardware base price
Keyboard also above price unfortunately
Price should be $549 pixel slate+ $129 keyboard folio + $99 for the pixel pen
Overall I think pixel 3 and 3xl should have been priced down to $649 and $799
Google home hub should had the camera additions and price would be fair at $149
I’m usually really optimistic about google’s vision but unfortunately didn’t reach my expectations this year 😞

Overall, the presentation was mediocre at best. However, the Pixel Slate I think has the most potential this year.

But in truth, they didn’t just replace everything they’ve released the last two years which is exciting to me. The Google Home speakers, the routers, the Pixelbook, and even the PIxel 2 series, aren’t just being tossed aside. They are still supporting them and keeping in the line up. Their just expanding with things this year. (Mostly things I don’t need or aren’t as interested in), but things none the less.

I think it will serve them well to have a wide line up of products even if those products don’t reach everyone every single year.
