I just think we as Spurs fans are often too emotionally attached to the managers and players………..it’s a results business?? I’m neither a Ange in or Ange out - I’m a Spurs do as well as the squad is capable of type of Fan. We have a very tough run of games coming up and it’s quite feasable we take very little from all of them - even if we play quite well just down to the quality and form of the opposition. I don’t believe this system gets the best out the current squad, too many people not playing in what would be their best position. The whole idea of a Director of Football set up is that the personell can change with little disruption to the general direction of the Team. If Ange turns out to be the manager BEFORE the manager that gets it right - then i still his time as a success and he can sail off into the Greek sunset in charge of Athens where he will have the best players in that league and undoubtedly bring them succsess and joy.
Meanwhile we might keep cleansheets and win games away from home which are basics required of winning any kind of Cup in the future.
