Healing the Whole Person: A New Paradigm in Health

We have all heard and told stories of resilience. But what exactly IS it? Until now, we have not had a paradigm to fully explain resilience. It is not about personal attributes or willpower. It goes deeper than that. ​Resilience is about the Power of Thought. The Three Principles Resilience Paradigm establishes psychological experience as not being bound by circumstances or the past. As our understanding of The Three Principles Resilience Paradigm deepens, we naturally incorporate this into patient care.

Lyn McCright, MPH, APRN,RN, AHN-BC, HWNC-BC is founder and director of Advancing Holistic Health, Inc. She is a Board Certified Health and Wellness Nurse Coach and Advanced Holistic Nurse (AHNCC). She began coaching 30 years ago, after meeting Sydney Banks. Lyn leads the 3PGC Nursing/Health Professions Community of Interest (COI) bi-monthly Zoom call. Lyn McCright RN, earned an MPH from the University of Minnesota’s School of Public Health, and her Baccalaureate in Nursing from the University of Arkansas.

Teresa Walding, BSN, RN, NC-BC is a board certified nurse coach. She graduated from Boise State University. Teresa is currently on faculty at Advancing Holistic Health, Inc. She is an active member of American Holistic Nurses Association. Throughout her career she has given classes for continuing education and presentations on Complimentary and Alternative Modalities, and now the Resilience Paradigm. She also works at her local hospital in Central Texas.
