In Akasaka-Mitsuke, Tokyo, you can travel back to the Edo period (1603-1867), here at Itamae Sushi Edo. Dress in a yukata (summer kimono), get a sit, and get ready to eat a lot of high quality fresh sushi, coming in directly from Tsukiji Market. Here, just like the restaurant, the food has a twist to it: volcano grilled tuna, a rainbow of sushi, a tower of sashimi…there’s just so many creative ideas on the menu!

The staff is super friendly, they have an English menu, and they can help you if you have any questions regarding your meal.
The number one dish we recommend: the Sashimi Tower. It’s an assortment of delicious seasonal sashimi!

This is more less tourist place. Fresh and good yes, is it gimmicky yes. Sushi is all about balance between rice and fish high quality sushi place would never use that much sashimi on sushi.
