Hey, if distrokid shows a song got a certain amount of views, does that mean it's already calculated the amount of money it made? Or does it show views before updating the revenue amount? I had a song that previously had like 900 streams total go to 1.2 million in like a month but only shows it made 2 dollars. I was wondering if it glitched out or if maybe those streams are being calculated from tiktok which doesn't pay per stream but per video it's used in. Anyway, it seems odd so I was hoping someone knew why it did this?

I've been reading in many forums and on the web and also in the comments below this video that Distrokid's earnings often don't match with spotify streams. Is this true? I see your artist profile on spotify and I see that you have many plays, around 28, 000 per month. Does Distrokid pay you for these streams or is it not reliable?
