I believe "lukewarm" is to proclaim Christ with one's lips but deny Him with one's life. It's worldliness and a faith of no works. The Bible says a friend of the world is an enemy of God-James 4:4.

The Ru'ach of YHWH's son Yahuwshua cannot dwell alongside idols.
For YHWH states that...
"I am YHWH, and there is no one else. Besides me, there is no Elohiym".

It's a daily house cleansing that has to take place within ourselves, a lot of serious searching.
