If you need more plants, root those suckers in water and plant them when they have 2 inch roots. They root fast.

Perfect timing Greg! We have been so busy clearing brush along fence and pressure washing and painting it our tomatoes are getting big! I just shot your video to my husband so he can watch it in his lunch hour at work. We have the t posts bought and we are going to run wires around but this will help us a lot. My tomatoes always end up being so heavy laden and tomatoes end up on the ground. My squash plants are the biggest they’ve ever been this year and I think it’s because I dug and put wheel barrow loads of our horse stall poop that had been on the ground for yrs and it had turned like dark soil. It was a lot of back breaking work but boy are my plant’s humongous!😃. Thank you again for your helpful information! Sincerely Val in Oregon 🙂. P. S. We have a UTV and several ATVs that we ride on the beach and the Oregon Dunes. We have a year round camp spot near CoosBay. If you ever are out in Oregon we can take you on the Dunes. That can be my gift to you for your wonderful videos you’ve shared that I have enjoyed. Blessings to you

Hey Greg, thanks for the video! Totally loving Green Gregs Worm Farm and Frog band jamboree! Here it would be Green Gregs Worm farm and Cicada diso. I know you're a rocket man and another well known rocket man has been launching some interesting things into the BLACKSKY... some people might call it AIRMAGIC and those two could very well compliment each other to spot light certain things here on earth. Of course there are also 42, 000 different possibilities with certain star constellation that might link everything together... also 24 billion possibilities were donated for the year to 75, 000 people who from what I thought were all retired. I haven't seen them trying any kind of rocket man things in years but it's an interesting amount considering the retirement status and considering the current rocket man that is using the retired "driving range." Just thought I would share hope you have a great day!!

I learned a lot today about Tomatoes that I did not know, and like you said you can't get behind especially with the amount you are growing, but the weather and working don't help, Thanks Greg and have a Blessed Week!

110-120 in Phoenix this week. Sun dried on the vine in a good year. The aloe garden is gangbusters. Gonna need it. I have one volunteer of some unknown species or variety’s. A true desert loving plant. 3’ tall. Dense foliation . Tall center stalk. Danish poppy? I’ll keep you posted.

Random thoughts. On Self Sufficient Me YouTube channel, I have seen raised hugelculture beds parallel to each other, with a walkway between them and cattle panels arched into walk through arbors between them. WORK to set up, yes, but useful for trellising any vines (and give you a shaded work area.) Also MUCH easier on backs and knees. Good ideas are THE wealth that multiplies by sharing. He has some good ones.

I cut some pretty big suckers off, rooted them and had a fall bumper crop last year.

Great advice! We all get too busy and let the garden go wild. It's nice to see tips that help out.

Lmao some of my maters are still laying on the ground & I use the vertical twine too. I use tomato clips, check them out, and my trellises are bamboo. Worst case scenario you can clean the grass/weeds from underneath them & let them vine out on the ground. My best tomato plants are always volunteers that pop up in my compost pile & vine out. First to produce & last to die. They also get yuge!

Pickled radish seed pods make an excellent substitute for capers. Mulching helps to slow the spread of earth borne diseases. If you have a particularly good plant, it can be worth it to root the suckers, maybe even for over winter. Early start for next year. Would it work to cut the morning glories, let them wither, and then pull the vines? Living mulch of companion plants should work and increase the harvest...;-)
