That is a serious peice of kit there Jim, I cant wait to see this in action! maybe you should print some internal or external 3 point ABS corners for the re-assembly of the crate unless you have a pin gun.

Not sure you found out where the handle goes on your own. But, my fiber laser has one of those handles at the top of the tower by the height adjustment wheel. It locks in your height settings and should screw in from one of the sides between two sprung screws. (Edit) Looking back at your video there seems to be a threaded hole on the right side of the adjustment tower, the Omtech one may not have the sprung screws like mine.

What an actual 30W OUTPUT laser looks like versus the BS power claims of other laser etchers/cutters implying that their laser INPUT power is beam power.

I've had a frustrating experience with the Omtech 30W Mopa Fiber Laser. It's been unreliable, with frequent malfunctions and inconsistent power output. Disappointing performance overall.
