The starter set of Speedpaint 1.0 plus a few singles 1.0 paint is the only reason I could be bothered to paint the whole box. 15-30 sec per regular zombie, 60-ish sec for the fat prisoner and the “burlesque” ladies, and an annoying 10- 15 minutes on each of the angry big photographer looking guys.
Would have taken WAY longer without speedpaints.
Production line painting and a good audio book is the way to go.
Then the characters I did with traditional acrylics and a wash, sorry but only the washes here were Army Painter :p

As a Zombicide collector and painter this was a lot of fun to watch. I have painted a few seasons of the original game using Sorastro's suggested method and they look amazing. This looks like a great approach for tackling such a massive number of minis. This was just the core box, so if you are all in on one of their Kickstarters there are about 3x this to paint up. I've been saving to pick up the complete speed paint box to use for Marvel Zombies, White Death and a few other projects I have on my calendar next year.

Got the SpeedPaint Mega Set last week, and I painted my first minis (I'm a fifty years old gamer who thought he would never be able to do this) with the slap chop technique... and I had a blast ! I used Zombicide minis (some from the first edition, and also an awesome Crocosaurus from Most Wanted), and I was amazed how beautiful these paints look, even when you're a brand new painter like myself. This is as easy as it gets, and I can't wait to paint the rest of my Zombicide collection ! Thanks for this really cool product !

I bought the full three sets of Undead Or Alive, and LOVE them all :-D I'm slowly painting the core character set just now, and love how detailed and easy to paint they are. Undead Or Alive is also fun to play, with the expansions adding so much more to the fun. I have the 2.0 Speedpaint set, and they have worked wonders for my normally slow speed of mini painting :-)

Damn, I need one of those lights! I have the first series of speed paints and I need to try them out, I have to find a mini to use it on to try it out ;). Ive been painting minis for customers for a while now so havent had a chance to try it out yet :(
