I am 72. Wow! I have loved jewelry and worked in a high-end precious jewelry store. I always purchased one or two fine pieces a year rather than lots of junk. I also refrained when gold was sky high. It's a commodity that fluxes with interest rates, so when it dipped; I shopped, When it rose; I refrained. Trends are trends. Jewelry is very personal so choose and wear what you will like during your lifetime. Cherish the ones that are passed down to you.

Screw trends. Don't let someone else dictate your life. Wear what you like.

About logos, companies need to pay me to advertise for them, not the other way around. 😅

I wear what I want, when I want. I mix gold and silver. I have some jewelry that belonged to my mom, my aunt, my Great Grandmother. When I am going to a special event, I will say: "would you like to come to this dinner party, Auntie?" as I put on a pair of her earrings. Or when I am facing something scary, I will wear a piece from my mom to give me courage. Am I crazy? Maybe, but it works for me. Jewelry is my statement and a lucky charm. Mixed in with vintage jewelry, I have several new pieces I bought myself or my husband gave me. I hope my Granddaughters will someday invite me along to a special occasion when I can no longer wear my pretty jewels.

Pearls will never go out of style; neither will the simple, elegant diamond solitaire.

I’ve loved rose gold ever since my grandmother gave me her ring from the 1920’s. It can be timeless ❤

This video is a testament to why I rarely get rid of jewelry. It all cycles back around at some point. If I still like it and it still resonates with me, I keep it! Something that looks less than current right now will usually feel fresh again to me in a year or two! 😂

I have never, ever gone for logos! Primarily because I refuse to pay to advertise very high end products, and, admit it ladies, most of them aren’t really all that attractive. As for pearls, I never got rid of any of mine and didn’t stop wearing them because I figured we’d go back to that old classic sooner or later. They just always look rich and lovely.

Thanks for the updates. Very fun.

Rose gold is a classic when it goes with your skin tone. I will wear mine til I die. Thanks

I keep all my jewelry, 50+ years worth. Pieces always come back in style. I bought real gold pieces 30 years ago when they were affordable. My $300 bracelet now sells for $1200+. Crazy.

I have never stopped wearing the long necklaces. They elongate my short torso.

I’m so glad we are metal mixing. The girls at school used to call me tacky if I wore gold and silver rings.. but some of the silver rings were gifts or passed down to me. You can’t expect people to get you GOLD lol 😂 if someone buys me a silver and diamond charm I will throw it on a gold necklace . 🤷‍♀️

I still love rose gold. I'm still wearing all my rose gold items.

The best vintage-inspired is TRUE VINTAGE! Costs about the same as newly-made "inspired" pieces, substantially better crafted, will last you a lifetime.

Yes to long necklaces!!
They add a nice touch to an outfit.

Long necklaces layered is what I can’t wait for. Loved that Gypsy boho trend years ago.

I’ve learned ALWAYS keep your jewelry!!!(unless it’s plastic 😂)
Simply rotate it. It always comes back around; whether it’s vintage, classic, fine jewelry, short/long necklaces, gold, silver etc..

My favorite piece ever is the pearl set my mom bought me many years ago when she couldn't afford them but wanted me to have them. So while I'm glad to hear that pearls are back in, they never went out for me and in my opinion are timeless pieces to give to loved ones. ❤️

I'm a traditionalist. My jewelry has always been gold (both white and gold) and silver. I prefer gemstones—diamonds, pearls, and sapphires. I'm not trendy. My personal style is timeless. I have natural diamonds, so I would look at lab-created ones going forward.
