It’s so sad that children have to be a part of this. I myself have problems doing online learning. This to me is the worst way to learn and get an understanding of a subject. Thanks be it to God that I managed to pass all of my courses. I told myself I was NOT going to fail any of my classes❗️

They need to change the programming and how they even do virtual schooling. They need to see how already established virtual schools do things. They already been thru what works and what doesn’t. I been using virtual school before covid for my son and we absolutely LOVE it !!!

Yes, I am glad parents are admitting that they are too stupid to teach their children.

NC is doing NOTHING about this!!😡😡. My HS senior may not graduate because she is STRUGGLING so much with online learning!
The WORST PART... My daughter has CYSTIC FIBROSIS. In person learning is NOT an option for her!! 💜💜💜💜💜. My heart breaks for her every day and I feel HELPLESS😥😥. These children should not have the added mental stress of school when they are basically teaching themselves!! And.... my daughter attends one of the highest rated schools in NC!!😡

Hopefully things will improve once this pandemic is over or fully controlled 🙏🏾

Children struggle because parents think education is not their job. Teachers introduce concepts, check for understanding then give homework to practuce the concept. Before COVID parents were complaing about too much homework. They ssid 'teacher's weren't doing their job" and verything that wrong was the teacher's fault. Well now that home is the classroom they see first hand what a difficult job a teacher has. Under paid, over worked but beacuse teachers love what they do they continue. Having a safe, COVID free enviorment is not too much for teachers to ask for.

I had remote classes through the whole pandemic and failed my classes because of school stress, I am currently between my sophomore and junior years in college
