Don’t worry about your Hoyas the runners have a habit of browning off after shipping but it won’t kill your plant. Once they dry just cut it off to the live vine and it will begin to grow for you when it adjust. Everyone I’ve had shipped has done the same thing.

Almost all of my plants are from the clearance sections of my local plant shop and lowes. I think it’s really smart of you to not spend boatloads of money on one plant. Good job being fiscally responsible!

I appreciate you sharing your experience with planterina as I have been considering getting stuff from them but have been waiting till it warms up cause I didn’t want to deal with the cold situation but now I’m going to try harder to find what I want locally before considering them again. Their prices are high even when on sale most of the time and if they can’t even respond to a mess up like that then I don’t want to even try it.

Your Hoya is a lacunosa snow caps. I got one a week or two ago and they are so cute. I have the DS70 also and it has leaves that feel a bit fuzzy to me.

They have both Philodendron painted lady and Calkins Gold on the web site so I wonder if they accidentally shipped the wrong one? I haven't had any issues ordering from Planterina. I don't have very many options when buying plants and I always know if I order from her site I'm getting a big healthy plant especially if I use her special offers and discounts.

Yes! My Sanseveria grows so fast in my West window, in Galveston TX!! And ZZ plants grow so fast in sunny spot too

Yea the Bilobota is definitely a Lacanosa Hoya. It’s a real addiction, it’s very hard too not buy plants.

I enjoyed your video David😌🙏💞You're such a lovely guy💖I understand your trouble with Hoyas. I actually give mine some neglect, especially when they are looking yellow in the leaves. Hoyas have inactive moments. It's best to get used to easy Hoyas like: Hoya obscura, Hoya wayetii, Hoya publcalyx and Hoya bella. Have a great day😉🌄All the way from Japan🇯🇵

My planterina Hoya macrophylla did the same thing. But is coming back with new growth. My experience is...don't bottom water it and only water when 100% dry

It’s okay, some plants do well and some don’t. I feel like some just want to kill themselves off to be annoying lol. I got a whole bunch of succulents this month, oh man I mean last month. Probably should stop buying for awhile, so addicting though. Hoyas always seem like they’ll be easy, but not always haha. Kinda annoying, but so pretty! Thanks for sharing.

Love your videos!! I’m going threw the same issue right now. I recently built my own plant shelf to put my plants on because I have a lot of plants and don’t know the names to half of them!! The purple plant you have will root. I just rooted one recently, haven’t put it in dirt yet though..
