A great review for a travel and tourism channel. Definitely not the information I wanted when researching a car. Not many stats beyond the engine. While I don't doubt Vicki's passion for cars, a few more stats and opinions would be welcome.

my family own an Xj newest version and I am 19 years old and drive it everywhere I go.
People have told me that it is the best car they have ever seen and it is so rare here in sweden and specially in my city there are only about 5 of them. At least here it is still considered to be a really classic jaguar.

A lot was disucssed about the area in which the driver was driving through, but not too much discussion over the car itself. The car is pretty expenive, but it does not come with features like a Heads-Up-Display or night assistance.

Average review. Its a plush top of the line "limo" of course its going to be comfortable over agile and sharp! You say its comfortable like its a bad thing but its most certainly one of the most important factors in this market segments!

This model has now been superceded by the 542 bhp XJR.

Don't get me wrong, I like Jags. But they have to have the 'classiness' of an Eighties XJ - good for that era (I have driven one, back in the early Nineties, as a 19 yo, wasn't mine) or the XJ 1994-2009. The latter is way too conspicuous. A real Jag needs a degree of restraint, ever since 1968.

Someone copied Top Gear America's driving through the tunnel in the USA with 3 different cars to see what top speed they would reach before the end. Note: The tunnel was closed to traffic while filming and monitored by the local police!
