As a small boy on a farm in west of Ireland I was always told to count our cattle. Old habits die hard. I counted 53 across the bridge. We learned about this transhumance in school and I witnessed it in the Pyrenees . Those cattle, red and black with a broad white stripe on their backs look very much like the Irish moiled cattle, very few left nowadays. What country was this. Good luck.
