Tawny Owl chicks at Wheatland Farm, Devon

Never mind the date stamp - these images are all taken in May 2018 (we just hadn't set the camera). This owl box is in the lodge field, and guests have been seeing the adults and young out and about. The trick is to listen for blackbird alarm calls - they usually mean a predator is around. As for the squirrel, well it's pushing its luck, but we don't think that is what got eaten at the end!
