In this video I go over my impressions of the Lobster TG200NA pliers from Japan. They are about half the price of the Knipex Twingrips, but a formidable competitor in my opinion.

I get it. You want to open and close those slip pliers and move on. That is preference and thats alright. However, the twin grips are far superior to those redlobsters and ill tell you why. (1) the long neck on the pliers allows you to reach into areas that traditional pliers do not. (2) The adjustment allows you to grab onto smaller screws, comfortable by adjusting slightly. The slip joints do not allow that so on certain screws you wont be able to slip your pluers open and will have to try and take out a screw with the handles slightly ooen. Some screws are hard to take out and if the jaws are not set just right, will fatigue your hands. (3) the knipex metal is better therefore the extraction teeth will last longer. (4) as you stated, the knipex offer better jaws for larger bolts. (5) the knipex are less likely to rust due to being brushed. (6) knipex offers comfort grips which make the pliers much more comfortable while using.

Ive had the knipex for over a year now and i can't tell you how many times they have saved me.

I've been looking at the Knipex screw extraction pliers after running into some situations where I could have used them. Thanks for comparing them to the Lobster brand pliers. I do like how the Lobster's are more compact since I like to travel light. I see them on eBay but don't see them on Amazon right now but maybe they are out of stock.
