Blender 2.8 Procedural PBR Texturing: Beginner Tutorial

preview_player
Показать описание
Here is a Blender PBR procedural texturing video for beginners, in which I show how to create a simple but nice eevee material (principled shader) to which I add height (bump node) and roughness information using a noise texture.

The Blender project file can be downloaded for free from my patreon:

Nicely done and well structured beginner tutorial! I see this and my 1st want is to know how to then apply another subtle bump texture to those ultra smooth areas being clipped to white by the color ramp... resembling a battered concrete surface... and then a peeling paint layer on top of that. Like a painted concrete surface with battle damage. Please keep it up - I enjoy all your tutorials!

Thank you for the tutorial Jayanam. Could you please consider making a tutorial on baking all the effects (an object that has been procedurally textured), including specularity, into a single diffuse texture? Thanks again :)

Hi Jayanam - Thanks for this great tutorials as usual... I have a question... how would you create this kind of thing for only certain parts of the mesh..? for example only the edges of the object rather than the whole object?

When i export a cube.obj from blender to a codeblocks project and open it in an opengl Objectloader program, the cube renders out of whack with some of the triangles misaligned.
Anyone know how to get the cube to render properly ?
