I read, and enjoyed, your article, Jason, and talked about it on a live stream. I use Peppermint and love XFCE. My desktop looks nothing like Peppermint, which has a very nice theme, but I had to make it my own. I truly enjoyed your article but have to say, you don't really have to get down and dirty to theme it. Thanks for rocking XFCE!

i use Compton with xfce on debian and with some tweaks in it's config file screen tearing is not an issue. cool podcast btw

Xfce of my lappys needs Compton to fix screen tearing, the other don't. Very easy to customize I tweak it very little <(")

XFCE is functionnal, but I'd rather use DeepinDE, Budgie, KDE or Gnome.

your not a true linux user unless you use a KDE desktop, old school or plasma, :p .. good show guys .. xfce is nice but its too buggy for me .. my lenovo 320 -(amd a12 modle) .. i have running on kubuntu about 500mb ram, xfc (xbuntu) im about 650mb ram at startup "no programs loaded" ... its about the same running debain 10 also ... i have no idea why the bloated plasma runs faster and lighter than xfc but it dose .. i thank the xfc project is a wast
