There was a guy on Twitter who made his entire campaign about going after the creator of Harry Potter. Well after years of it the "guy" took it way to far calling for "her" death. Well she said "Alright I was playing along for all this time but if you take it this far it's time for me to talk to my lawyers." She did, filed a suite, and he took down every single tweet. Openly apologized as well. Sometimes people will have a ceiling they will hit when things like this happen. Asmongold's ceiling may not have been hit yet but it could be someday, and out come the lawyers.
