A 1929 Aermotor Windmill gets new life

We fastened on a roller conveyor extension onto the bucket of our front end loader tractor, to get the extra height we needed on the angle of the cable..
We then used the winch on our winch truck, along with the gin poles to pull the windmill up..
We first tied off the feet of the windmill to keep the windmill from sliding toward the winch truck..
My dad used a cable wrapped around the Live Oak tree, to keep the windmill from falling toward the tractor..
Once in placed, we very securely anchored the windmill back down.

Well darn you two made that look easy ! You sure did a lot of nice hard work in the yard wow. I see the brush pile and all you got done . Now one question lol? DId you WD40 that before you got it up lol. Who is going to climb it to keep it from making a screaching noise after 14 years lol. Just kidding I know your going to be kicking yourself to get to sleep thought if it does make a lot of noise ha ha .
